The information published on Kyrvalos ("the Site") is provided for general fitness and wellness education only. We're genuinely excited to help you move more and train smarter — but please read this carefully, because your health and safety come first. By using the Site, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Disclaimer.

General information, not medical advice

Our articles about workouts, strength, cardio, and recovery & habits are general education written and reviewed by experienced coaches. They are not medical, physiotherapy, or dietetic advice, and they are not a substitute for professional care from a doctor, physiotherapist, registered dietitian, or other qualified health professional who knows you. Every body is different — your age, fitness level, medical history, and current condition all matter — and what's right for one person may be wrong or unsafe for another.

Talk to your doctor before you start

Please consult a doctor or physician before beginning any new exercise or nutrition program. This is especially important if you have any injury or medical condition, are pregnant or recently gave birth, are taking medication, are over a certain age, or have been inactive for a while. Getting cleared first isn't a formality — it's how you make sure the right plan for everyone else is the right plan for you.

Train smart and listen to your body

When you exercise, use proper form, warm up before you work hard, and progress gradually rather than rushing into heavy loads or long sessions. Stay hydrated, rest when you need to, and respect that "challenging" and "harmful" are not the same thing. The strongest, most sustainable progress comes from training consistently within your limits — not from pushing through pain. If something hurts in a sharp or unusual way, back off.

Stop and seek medical attention for warning signs

Stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention if you experience chest pain or pressure, dizziness or light-headedness, faintness, severe or sharp pain, an irregular or racing heartbeat, or unusual shortness of breath. These can be signs of a serious problem. When in doubt, stop — and if symptoms are severe or don't resolve, contact emergency services or a medical professional right away. No workout is worth your health.

Nutrition content is general, not a personalized plan

Any nutrition information on the Site is general guidance, not a meal plan or dietary prescription tailored to you. Individual nutritional needs vary widely, and conditions such as allergies, intolerances, diabetes, pregnancy, or other medical issues require personalized advice. For an eating plan suited to your body and goals, please consult a registered dietitian or qualified nutrition professional.

Results vary and are never guaranteed

Fitness results depend on many factors we can't control — your starting point, genetics, consistency, sleep, nutrition, recovery, and more. While we only share approaches our coaches have used with real people, we cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcome. What works wonderfully for one reader may work differently for you, and that's normal. Progress is rarely a straight line, and showing up over time is what counts.
